We conducted a dye test on a balcony at Long Island by introducing a normal dye into the water. This dye then seeped through any cracks or compromised areas in the waterproofing, making the leak visible and confirming it was the source of water damage in the unit below. This method is non-destructive and helps to accurately pinpoint the leak's exact location.
